Chemical peels are an excellent way to refresh and rejuvenate wrinkled, spotted, scarred, or aged skin. A special chemical solution is applied to the skin to create an even and controlled shedding of damaged skin cells, revealing the fresh, smooth, unblemished skin just below the surface. This procedure stimulates new skin growth and restores a youthful appearance. We have a wide range of peels, from very gentle to aggressive peels designed to take off several layers of outer skin. Our aestheticians will help determine which peel is best for you in a no fee consultation visit.
- Vitalize Peel
- Latic Acid
- TCA (Obagi Blue Peel)
Using crystals delivered through a special wand, microdermabrasion removes outer layers of skin, leaving your skin looking rejuvenated and minimizing fine lines of the face. Microdermabrasion is a light sanding of facial skin. It not only improve skin texture, but increases blood flow to the area, giving skin a youthful “glow”. Microdermabrasion is often sold as packages of several treatments, and can be combined with other skin care treatments at our Spa to produce lovely results.
Dermaplane is a procedure of removing dead skin and facial hair by use of a surgical grade blade designed especially for the face. Rather than using the long strokes of a razor blade, small “scraping” motions are used to gently and thoroughly remove the outer layer of dead skin as well as any facial hair. Women do not need to worry about facial hair growing back thicker, courser or darker than before. Most women, following their first Dermaplane treatment, quickly fall in love with the way it makes their skin feel soft and silky smooth for several weeks. Many have Dermaplaning performed on a regular basis, just as they routinely have their nails done at a salon. We perform Dermaplane in combination with many of our other Spa Treatments.
Some say that if you want to know a woman’s true age, just look at her hands. Our hands unmercifully show signs of our aging, and it is an area we tend to neglect and put through abuse. By utilizing our Broadband Light (BBL) laser on the back of the hands, we can help eliminate ‘age spots’ , leading to a more youthful appearance.
Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a device with very fine, short needles to create controlled punctures in the skin. These tiny pin-pricks activate the skin’s self-repair mechanism and trigger the production of new collagen for smoother, softer and more even skin. Microneedling is often used to improve areas of the skin with fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, oversized pores and other flaws. Treatment is not painful, no downtime is involved, and visible results appear within a few weeks. Most patients are advised to have a series of three to five treatment sessions for best results.
